Hells Canyon

Hells Canyon is America’s deepest river gorge, carved a mile deep by the Snake River. Canyoneers can see three rivers and over 900 miles of trails full of pika, deer, elk, bobcats, and mountain goats. Trail Creek Canyon and Pass

Trail Creek Road is a gravel, non-maintained trail closed during the wintertime and off limits to large vehicles. This trail is not for the beginner, as it has steep-drop offs, rockslides, and several feet of snow during the winter. The trail passes through Grand View Canyon and past Idaho’s two highest peaks.

Taylor Canyon Loop

Taylor Canyon Loop is a little over four miles long and is described as a moderate hike taking a few hours. This trail is known for it’s beautiful wildflowers, stunning views, and abundance of deer and wildlife. Most of the trail is exposed with little shade, so be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat.

Wood River Farmers Markets

This location hosts visitors who want to shop at farmers markets from Ketchum and Hailey, Idaho; the Hailey Market is located nearby at Roberta McKercher Park. From both markets, you’ll be able to visit booths from many different kinds of local vendors, including sellers of fresh produce, meat and animal products, crafts and jewelry, and more.

Boundary Campground is composed of nine developed, non-reservation campsites with bathrooms and a hand pump for drinking water. The campground has picnic sites, fire rings, and grills under the shade of cottonwood trees. Some areas of the campground are wheelchair accessible.

Another of Sun Valley’s draws for interested visitors, the Signatures and Gift Shop offers souvenirs and accessories.
